Dude on Wheel [Studio City, CA]

What?!? Use one of them fancy, expensive "hover boards" -
FUCK NO! Get a wheel - put it in the middle of a plank
and power it! Even better and seems to be homemade...
[Tujunga Ave - between Valley Spring Ln & Aqua Vista St]

Jackhammering [West Hollywood, CA]

[Crescent Heights Blvd & Santa Monica Blvd]
A pneumatic drill used in break-up of road surface.
The jackhammer was invented circa 1855.

MetLife Blimp [North Hollywood, CA]

One normally sees the Goodyear Blimp out and about in the Los Angeles area -
but every now and then one may catch a rare glimpse of the Fujifilm Blimp
and a rarer sighting of the MetLife Blimp...
Southern California used to be a steampunk haven for
lighter-than-air aircraft...
[Vineland Ave & Lankershim Blvd]

Segway! Really?... [West Hollywood, CA]

[Crescent Heights Blvd & Santa Monica Blvd]
Rather shocked to see someone riding a Segway
in public and seemingly for transport! Not that it is a
terrible thing to do - one just never sees it done.

Payphones [Sherman Oaks, CA]

[Burbank Blvd east of Kester Ave]
It was once said that the most dangerous job in the known universe
was that of a payphone cleaner... Should you want to see actual payphones,
you can take a trip and see these - who knows, they might even work -
though not at the drop of only a dime.
