Johnie's Coffee Shop [Miracle Mile, Los Angeles, CA]
Johnie's Coffee Shop is a splendid example of Googie architecture - unfortunately, sitting unused.
From Wikipedia "The restaurant is perhaps best known as the setting for the opening of the 1988 cult film Miracle Mile, in which a patron learns that a nuclear war is about to begin"

Corner Photogs (17) [Studio City, CA]
For whatever reason, this corner at Ventura Blvd and Laurel Canyon Dr seems to be a popular hangout for getting a shot of whatever - maybe it's a popular archetype of an intersection in the San Fernando Valley with palm trees and wide streets?... The view in a western direction doesn't seem that impressive to me. These two guys didn't look like papparazzo - but maybe The Bieber was across the street at Kinko's or something.
